Accelerate Technology & Innovation
CENE Accelerate: Technology and Innovation creates a unique bridge between the vibrant technology and investment community in the greater Boston area and the premier growth technology companies in Canada. This half day program included presentations by a select group of Canadian fast growth technology companies, networking opportunities and a keynote address by Earl Marmar, PhD, Associate Director, Senior Research Scientist, Physics Department Head, Magnetic Fusion Experiments, MIT.
CENE Gala: Inspirations
Thank you to all of the CENE members who attended the 2022 Gala: Inspirations. This event recognized how our community inspires one another with their personal and professional commitments, accomplishments, and their plans for the future.
Global Affairs Canada Canadian Technology Accelerator Digital Health Event
At this event, nine innovative digital health companies were selected by the Canadian Technology Accelerator (CTA) for their development and mentorship program. These nine companies are dedicated to tackling various issues in the healthcare industry, coming at a vital time in a post-pandemic era. Spanning Boston, as well as New York and San Francisco, this program focused on workshops, mentorship, and networking to support these companies as they enter the U.S. market.
Catalyst Forum
Thank you for joining us for the fourth edition of the Catalyst Forum: Life Sciences hosted at the Broad Institute in Cambridge, MA. The theme of this year’s program, Collaborate, highlighted the special relationship between life science leaders in Canada and the United States. Our program featured life sciences leaders and showcase Canadian life sciences companies. We also recognized the winners of the Canadian Consulate of Boston’s first annual Trailblazer Corporate Innovation Challenge with the Catalyst Awards.
Corporate Roundtable Series
The CENE Corporate Roundtables series was a unique annual program offered exclusively to CENE Corporate Members. Focused on helping Canadian companies develop and grow their presence in the United States, this quarterly program was an online roundtable discussion led by industry thought leaders with specific expertise in the given topic. Participants not only learned from the discussion leaders but also had the opportunity to share best practices with other members of their cohort and have access to the roundtable podcast after the program.
2021 Signature Events
Catalyst Forum: Life Sciences
Here, our thought leaders held main stage sessions and recognized that from venture to private equity, investors are increasingly looking to Canadian research and innovation as the next frontier for biotech. At the same time, large pharma is looking to Canada for their strategic pipeline investments. We were able to take a look at the trends, deals and biotechnology innovation that's turning people’s attention and funding North of the border.
CENE Gala: Connections
CENE’s Gala 2021 celebrates connections… between the United States and Canada, amid colleagues, among friends and between the very special people who are members of the CENE.
